1 . JOHN WICK
John Wick only received its title because Keanu Reeves kept forgetting what it was originally meant to be called, a new interview has revealed. Derek Kolstad, who wrote the original John Wick, as well as its two sequels, John Wick: Chapter 2 and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, told Comicbook that Reeves kept referring to the original film by the wrong name. It had previously been titled “Scorn”.
“The only reason it’s called John Wick,” he said, “is that Keanu kept referring to it as John Wick.“
2. MARKO ZAROR WILL PLAY A VILLAIN
Marko Zaror will appear in the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4, and Zaror’s franchise changing antagonist role is set to continue his trend of playing strong villains. The road from John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum to John Wick 4 has been an unexpectedly long one, with the movie originally set to hit theaters on May 27, 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic and Keanu Reeves’ subsequent scheduling conflict with The matrix resurrections would lead to John Wick 4 eventually being pushed back to March 23, 2023.
3. A TREAT FOR FANS OF MARTIAL ARTS
John Wick: Chapter 4 is bringing in some heavy-duty martial artists from around the world. Set to hit theaters on May 27th, 2022, John Wick: Chapter 4 continues its title character’s reluctant return to the assassin world he tried to leave behind, with John now having a major vendetta against the high table that rules over it. Despite a year-long COVID-19 delay from its originally planned May 21, 2021 release, anticipation is high, and rightfully so, for Chapter 4.
4. BILL SKARSGARD’S MISTERIOUS ROLE
John Wick newcomer Bill Skarsgard is on violent form in the fourth movie‘s first trailer.
He goes by the name Marquis, and although we know next to nothing about this mysterious character, it’s suggested that the unstoppable super assassin John (reprised by Keanu Reeves) must strike some sort of deal with him. As for the level of threat he brings to the table, there’s attack dogs and knives at Marquis’s disposal, which he’s more than happy to unleash.
